A client expresses that they believe Drupal is 'limiting SEO' for their 'minimalist' site.
My reply:
I am not sure why you are imagining that Drupal is limiting your SEO. I suspect Drupal is one of the best platforms for SEO, whether a site is basic or beyond. It just needs to be configured appropriately and then standard SEO practices applied on top of that layer.
The limitations of your site in Google are in no way a consequence of you choosing Drupal.
The limitations are
Google is hungry. It does not get fed when visiting your site. The best way to get google to like your site is to introduce more food for google onto your site. Currently only http://www.example.com/?q=profile is even a small snack, and for technical reasons your site is making even that snack harder than necessary for Google to find.
Your home page is indeed good food for the visually oriented clients you wish to attract, but google is more or less ignoring those visual elements.
Here's an example of the sort of advice I would provide:
Fix your menus to utilise clean URL's.
Technically..., your site does have clean URLs enabled (good), but your menus do not utilise those clean URL's. That would be easily fixed via the menu admin interface, perhaps for me 10 minutes work or less - for an important outcome.

Your minimalist site has a Rolls Royce engine (aka Drupal) under the hood purring away nicely. If you wish the site to become more prominent and thus give more leads to your business, it's just a case of getting that engine out of first gear. I can do that for you if you wish to make the investment.
