Welcome to the exciting world of Drupal. After stepping into the ever changing world of web design, and development in 2004 after finishing my studies in Information Technology, I somehow thought that open source was not for me. I felt at the time that ASP, and CFML combined with IIS is the way to go. Time passed, and I kept working with the mentioned web technologies until one day I accidentally bumped into Drupal. I was mesmerised with its flexibility, scalability, and especially its affordability for my clients. But then and now Drupal was not alone, there were competitors, namely Joomla, Wordpress, Xoop e.t.c. So I went absolutely crazy and started a comprision between them. My conclusion!..Drupal...because of the flexibility of Drupal, I could shape it any way i wanted with minial effort, which was a good news for my clients as well because the lesser time I took to complete their projects, the more affordable it was for them.
